Workmanship cover, for life

Any structural defect arising from our build process. If a connection fails, a footing settles, a flashing leaks because of how we installed it - that's on us to fix at no cost to you.

  • Water-tightness at our install points (laps, gutter joins, flashing)
  • Cladding fitment that loosens or fails to seat
  • Fastener performance from how we torqued or specified them

What sits outside the warranty

The honest exclusions. Most of these are insurance events or third-party issues that aren't workmanship questions - but it's better to know up front.

  • Damage from extreme weather (cyclones, severe hail) - typically insurance events
  • Third-party impact (someone reverses into the carport, a tree falls)
  • Modifications made by others after our handover
  • Manufacturer issues with materials (claim against BlueScope, we facilitate)
  • Normal cosmetic wear over decades within warranted limits

How a claim actually works

If something doesn't look right, the first step is always a phone call. We'll talk it through and decide whether it needs a site visit.

    Call us

    Describe what's happening. We may be able to diagnose over the phone or by photo. Many calls we take are quick fixes or maintenance questions, not warranty events.

  2. 02

    Inspection visit

    We come out, inspect the issue, document the situation with photos and identify the cause. No charge for the inspection on any build we did.

  3. 03

    Repair or refer

    If it's a workmanship issue, we schedule the repair at no cost. If it's a manufacturer issue, we facilitate the claim against the manufacturer and supply the certifications.

  4. 04

    Documented fix

    We document the fix in your build file and supply a written record. The structure goes back to full warranty cover after the repair.

The workmanship warranty stays with the structure, not the original owner. New owners can claim under the same terms - we've handled claims from second and third owners on 10+ year old builds.
